Meet JoAnn
Licensed Administrator in Education and Certified Elementary and Middle School Teacher, Author and Artist
Sewing has been in JoAnn's family from the early 1900's. JoAnn learned to sew from both her grandmothers. Even though her paternal grandmother worked in poor factory conditions, she kept her love of sewing alive and created garments and blankets that were treasured for years by family members. Growing up she watched her mom mend clothing and crochet. JoAnn studied fashion design as well as visual arts but her love of fiber was what she was most passionate about. Today JoAnn combines her love of sewing and fiber arts with her educational background to bring amazing workshops and events for all levels and ages.
